Best known for his work with The Paul Winter Consort, this classically trained violoncellist was elysian by equalise parts sacred orchestral music and mid-'60s pop styles. (The innovative habit of the cello by the Beatles in some of their arrangements was a stiff influence on pres Young Friesen.) His work with a diverse roster of artists all over the days has further expanded his cRO. He has recorded and performed with everyone from Dave Brubeck and Anthony Davis to Scott Cossu and Steven Halpern.
